Akshay & Jyothi
What happens when two different cultures come together and decide to celebrate love as one? Something beautiful.
Akshay, a Malayali from Kerala, and Jyothi, born and brought up in Delhi with roots in Uttar Pradesh, brought two very different worlds together for their wedding at Golden Royale Banquet Hall, Delhi. It wasn't just a wedding — it felt like a vibrant meeting of traditions, colours, flavours, music, and people.
From the exhilarating energy of the Baraat to the quiet elegance of the bride's arrival, every part of the celebration carried something distinctive. There was music in the air, rich colours everywhere, food that brought people together, and customs from both cultures finding their natural place within the same celebration.
What made the wedding particularly special was watching families and friends experience each other's heritage — discovering new customs, trying different delicacies, appreciating traditional attire, and finding ways to connect far beyond language. Somewhere in the middle of all this joyful celebration, Akshay and Jyothi quietly began a life together.
The energy of the Baraat, the laughter during the rituals, the quiet looks exchanged between the couple, and the emotional expressions of proud parents — love truly has a beautiful way of bringing different worlds closer.
