During the mehendi night, the twilight sky deepened over the water, offering all their guests—many of whom had travelled across the country—a quiet, unforgettable evening of music and lakeside breezes. On the wedding day, Shivani walked towards the mandapam under a vibrant phoolon ki chaadar held high by her closest friends, smiling with effortless joy. We stayed close without intruding, capturing the sacred pheras and the laughter that carried across the water into the night.
